Disk Repair
A game that freezes halfway through or doesn't start at all is often not broken — just scratched. We resurface the read side on a professional Eco Pro 2 by Total Disc Repair and then test the disc on the actual console. Not a look through a magnifying glass, but a real start-up attempt.
If it doesn't work, you pay nothing
We run up to five polishing passes. If the disc still doesn't work afterwards, we refund the service price in full. You only pay return shipping if you want the disc back — from €1.80.

Each additional disc costs €2.90. Return shipping is added and chosen at checkout: large letter €1.80, DHL small parcel €4.90 or DHL parcel €6.90. For valuable titles, take the DHL parcel — only that one is insured.

How it works
- Order. Choose the quantity and select the return shipping method at checkout.
- Send it in. You'll get our address by email. Pack the discs well — you can keep the original cases, we only need the disc.
- Go-ahead. As soon as the discs reach us, we send you a short email. With your yes we start the same day.
- We work. Resurfacing, cleaning, testing on the matching console.
- Result. You hear from us whether it worked — and get the disc back.
What can be repaired
Scratches, scuff marks and cloudiness on the read side — the silver underside. That is by far the most common cause of read errors, and polishing helps reliably. Discs that run on one console but not on another are almost always such cases.
What cannot be repaired
- Damage on the label side. The data layer sits directly under the print there. Once it is injured — by a scratch, a sticker someone peeled off, or a ballpoint pen — the data is gone. Polishing won't help.
- Cracks, broken or warped discs
- Delamination, visible as milky or rainbow-coloured patches in the material
- Discs that have already been resurfaced several times — at some point the protective layer is too thin
If you are unsure, send us a photo of both sides first. Then we'll tell you whether shipping is worth it at all.
Honestly
Polishing removes material. That cannot be undone, and in rare cases — with an already very thin or pre-damaged disc — it can become unusable. So for pieces with high collector value, talk to us first. Then we'll look together at whether the risk is worth it, instead of you regretting it afterwards.
Right of withdrawal
You can withdraw from the order within fourteen days of placing it — an informal message to us is enough. The full notice is in our withdrawal policy.
At the go-ahead step (step 3) we ask whether we may start immediately. If you say yes, your right of withdrawal expires once the repair has been carried out in full — for the part already performed you would have to pay pro rata in the event of a withdrawal. If you would rather wait out the fourteen days, just say so; then we start afterwards. That makes the process longer but costs you nothing extra.
